Don't they know where liars go...

I watched a bit of the political tv last night, and it simply reminded me of why i don't really get into it very much. I feel like nobody is being straight with anybody. Nobody wants to tell the entire truth. What really annoyed me was the democratic response. Nobody expects them to say anything good about the president's speech, or anything good about His presidency over the last few years...so...my hats off to the democrats for doing exactly what everyone expected. I'd like for once for the opposing side to just say something like..."well, he's doing a pretty good job. We might not agree with how he's handling it all, but we're all still here and we've made progress." But no, they just have to say what they don't like...how predictable. Oh well, I am not a voter, and my decision to be that way is only fueled by the fact that when politicians get together, all they seem to be able to do is bash the other party/person. Shame on them, that isn't nice!

Yesterday for lunch, I went out with some other youth pastors who are in the St. Louis area, and we just talked about some of our programs and where we are doing cool stuff, and where things really suck. It is good to see that although I struggle with some of our ministry, everyone else is in the same boat...even the guys who have been doing it for a lot longer.

Tonight I am going to hang out with "Romulus" Nick Plassman. That should be fun, we haven't hung out in a while, although we have become a good resource for one another in our seperate ministries. Peace!
