I must be crazy...
Today is my day off, yet here i am sitting in my office typing away. Why? I am purposefully avoiding the collosal mess that is my apartment. Today is cleaning day. I have already spent some time at the laundromat, and barely dented my dirty clothes pile. The kitchen is trashed, and i should be cleaning that, but i am out of cascade, and i don't want to wash everything by hand. There are poker chips all over the floor. Anyways, i don't really want to clean, i want to play video games. I am sure I'll get started soon enough. Although i am not excited about having to go to walmart to get some cleaning supplies and spagetti.
Last night at ministry teams, one of the students said to me, "Tyler, it doesn't seem like there are as many people here tonight as there usually are." With a half smile on my face, I said, "that's just fine with me." He probably doesn't understand where I am coming from, but I guess it is okay if we aren't busting at the seams for everything we do.
I am going "riding" next weekend. I used to call it snowboarding, but Andi told me that the correct way to refer to snowboarding is "riding." That's what they say in colorado anyways. I'll have to admit, "riding" doesn't make much sense away from the context of the rocky mountaint (you could ride in a car or on a bike or in a plane). But I suppose where she's from it is common tongue to refer to it as riding. Oh well, I just want to sound like I "ride" all the time and I am a cool person who is good at snowb...er..riding. I am such a nerd. Anyways, I am so excited about next week, I can hardly stand it. I am getting sick, I can feel it. Hopefully it will be gone by the time we go. I feel the flu coming on, and that usually lasts a few days. I will get hurt if I do not have full energy when we go. I finally get to go snowboarding with Lucus. We have been talking about that ever since I got him a great deal on a brand new board that is way better than mine (still kicking myself on that one). It should be great anyways.
