nude wrestling

i was listening to the radio this morning and mj announced that this spring there will be a new pay-per-view event dubbed NWWL. That stands for Naked Women's Wrestling League. Talk about crazy. Okay I'll admit...I used to watch wrestling when i was in late highschool to early college. But after a while i got tired of it. It doesn't change much. Guys who put on a huge dramatic act and then wrestle around in their underwear can only keep my attention for so long. It is the larger-than-life personalities that draw you in. You get attatched to one character or another and you enjoy following the story...how he begins to rise but is taken down by so and so's group and gets screwed by the commissioner, and then against all odds wins the title belt in the cage match only to be beaten up by the belt and a few oddly placed folding chairs outside the ring. The story is probably what draws you in.

Now, someone out there sees the need not only to have an all women's league, but what the heck, we'll just let them wrestle naked too! That's insane. It seems to me that leagues like the WWF have a dominant male audience, and although they use sex to sell, it isn't the main focus. So now, they are going after a different kind of male (in addition to the ones who enjoy the pro wrestling platform). They want the perverts out there. Guys who would say things like..."I think wrestling is gay and I wouldn't watch it unless it was women...wrestling naked!" And somewhere back in their minds they are thinking, "like that's ever going to happen, right?" Well, it is not a joke anymore. Not just naked wrestling like in jello or mud or something, but naked Pro Wrestling. Which means all the talking and drama and crazy personalities...only it's naked women.

Have you ever watched wrestling and noticed how much they have to grab each others' crotches to do all their moves. In the newest installment, these women will be grabbing each others' naked crotches....ahhhhhhhhh...they are probably going to be paid a lot of money.

the NWWL is definately something that i am not going to check out. I am trying to figure out what the hook or gimik is here. Because you can watch wrestling for free, and you can see naked women for free. So why would someone pay to see this. Is it so that you can see the just nakeds wrestle, or see the just wrestlers naked. Whatever happened to simply using your imagination...just kidding.
