the game...
Yesterday, I went to the Cubs/Cardinals game at Wrigley Field. It was awesome! I had a great time. I haven't been to that ball park since I was 10 so, it was good to be back. While I was at the game, I made several observations that I'd like to share with you all. After that, you can check out some of the pics that I took while in Chicago. Enjoy.

1. If someone asks you if you'd like a free ticket to the Cubs/Cardinals game at Wrigley field the correct response should be 'yes!'

2. Wrigley is kind of old and run down...somehow, that makes everything more fun.

3. I am not sure we should be selling beer to people at ball games. It seems like the guy who will drink the most is the guy who is the biggest fool while he's drunk.

4. If you are going to go to a Cubs/Cardinals game dressed in a Cards jersey and accompanying Cards hat, you'll want to verify two conditions. 1-you aren't sitting in the bleacher seats, and 2-the Cubs win 12-3.

5. Cubs fans can be extremely rude even when they win 12-3.

6. There are quite a few Cards fans at a Cubs game...but no one likes them.

7. A full tank of Gas will get a GMC SUV from Harvester Christian Church to Wrigley field and then some...you should, however, fill up before you get to Chicago otherwise you'll find yourself cruising on fumes into a neighborhood where you are the only white person.

8. It is 10 degrees cooler and gas is 50 cents higher in Chicago.

9. Next time you are frustrated with traffic, be thankful that you live nowhere near Chicago (unless of course you do, then your live stinks).

10. You should take a pitcher out of the game before he gives up 10 runs in one inning.

11. Ray Lankford sucks!!! (according to thousands of screaming fans)

12. You will probably give in to peer pressure. Despite what you may think, keeping a homerun ball from the opposing team would be difficult with all those people suggesting that you, "throw it back!" You will be the hero or villain for the rest of the inning.

13. It is fun to go to games, even if your team doesn't win.

now...check out the pictures from the game!
