Sometimes I feel bad....
Americans have so much money. I have so much much money. Sometimes I am disgusted by the things I spend my money on. I bought a new DVD player a few weeks ago. Why? Am I reallly that in need of watching DVDs in my house. Of course now my DVD player is silver, and my stereo is silver, soooo, I guess I should then buy a new TV (a silver one). That would be nice. Or maybe I could consider how often I go out to eat. I waste so much money. The worst is when I go to the mall. I buy new clothes to sit beside old clothes that still fit me, but might not be quite as "in style." I am fully aware that in other parts of the world people live in poverty like America doesn't know. People who live in garbage dumps, have no food, home, or clothing. Like I said, as a consumer, I am often disgusted by my own selfish and unecessary purchases. But at the same time, I don't want to change much. I don't know, there really isn't a point. This is just how I feel sometimes. I can't help where I was born and how I was brought up, but I can help others who are less fortunate by spending a little less on myself so that I can give more away. That would be cool.
