to the land of lincoln...
I am gone after lunch. My old band is playing in lincoln and it should be tons of fun. I am also taking one of the students with me. Hopefully, we will be able to attend a class somewhere...although I have my doubts, we'll have to hit the road soon on Thursday morning and won't have much time to hang around. I don't know, we'll see.
Talked to a friend last night. She lives on the east coast. We had a good time laughing and talking and sharing. Mostly i just miss being on the east coast. Oh well, hopefully I will get the chance to visit someday, but I am pretty booked right now, and I can't just take off anytime i want and go to new hampshire. Although that would be fun.
I am preaching this week, and still haven't started on my sermon - no big deal...yet.
I have these people wanting me to help out with the 1st-4th graders. They want me to lead some worship, but I am kinda busy, and I really just don't want to. am i honestly too busy to help these people, or is it just something i don't want to do. hopefully it is a little of both. is that bad? It is okay for me to say 'no' to things, but i still feel a little guilty. Stupid tischer!!! he just had to give out my email address - of course he couldn't do it, but gladly passed on the info to me...oh well, i think i have a student who is going to do it. He'll enjoy it, and can use all the exposure he can get to that kind of stuff.
Well, it is almost time for my staff meeting. Guess I better get my coffee and everything ready. Hopefully this one won't take so long!! It isn't because of me, it is because...these people are crazy!
