let me tell you why this photo makes me laugh...

I have recently become an uncle...I assume I will be the uncle that the kids think is cool. I'll be the one showing up with fireworks, showing the kids how to shoot a gun, having a motorcycle, frequently leaving kids unattended, and teaching them how to gamble. Everyone has an uncle like this in the family...everyone likes him, nobody trusts him...especially when he's had a few...er..."cokes" in him. I'm looking forward to that. On to business.
From what I understand, little Xander, is quite the cutie. I haven't been up to see him yet, but I plan to do so tomorrow (guess I should call ahead first). I am looking forward to meet the newest addition of the family. Still, this is not the reason for this post. Look at the picture again. Normally, I wouldn't really want a pic of Metcalf on my blog but when I got this with the assortment of baby pictures I lauged at it. A lot.
When I first looked at the picture, I understood that my bro's baby is brand new, but for some reason I didn't consider that Metcalf's baby isn't. Jon and Eric are such good friends, it wouldn't be unreasonable for them to plan to have a baby at the same time...now, that isn't what happened, but the thought kind of crossed my mind. So, I am looking at this picture; Jon and his newborn and Eric and his not-newborn, but in the back of my mind is the idea that the babies are the same age. So, Jon is holding what looks like a normal sized newborn, but Eric's baby looks huge next to Jon's. So I was looking at this pic of Jon and his normal human baby, and Eric and some giant's baby. Like he climbed up the bean stalk and got a baby...only because it is a giant, it is twice the size of a human baby. Okay it's a silly thought, but I still like to think that Eric is holding a giant's baby..."Look what I got!"
