this is my bike!
you don't need a haunted house if you have one of these...
today I was riding my bike on Pitman Hill road. It is a road surrounded by forestland, and suburban neighborhoods. The reason I like to ride it is because it is a very curvy road. Not only that, but unlike Illinois, there are many rolling hills located in this specific area. This usually isn't a problem b/c my bike is very small and handles very well even in those semi-dangerous situations. So anyways, I am riding along and I take this sharp turn while moving at a speed well above the limit. I was really leaning to the side, but I felt completely safe and under control...until that is my foot started scraping up against the ground. Now, this has never happened before. It wasn't like I was swinging my legs around wildly, they were just resting on the foot pegs. The part that touched the ground was the front tip of my shoe. Immediately, this rush of adrenaline shot all over my body...that feeling when you know you are momentarily in extreme and immediate danger (kind of like when I watch zombie movies). Luckily I remained calm enough to finish out my ride. So don't settle for haunted houses, hollywoood productions, or walking in graveyards at night...do something really scary - ride a motorcycle.
