Odds and Ends

dream:
-last night, I had a dream that I was being chased by a huge alligator. Have you ever seen the movie Lake Placid? Neither have I, but I remember the previews...well, the alligator in my dream made the one from the movie look like a puppy. Kind of creepy, but no loss of limbs.

Cardinal Game:
-I got 3 free tickets for seats just out of the rain on the first level. These were the best seats that I've ever sat in for any baseball game (mostly b/c at $36 a ticket you aren't left with much to
buy a footlong bratwurst).
-I went with Julie and Deven which was cool b/c neither of us really are baseball fans, so we
couldn't annoy one another...we had a great time.
-Parking was only $2 and a gamble that the meter maid would ticket me.
-Did i mention the footlong bratwurst. and nachos and cotton candy.
-daytime game in the rain = small crowd, less drunkeness.
-cardinals lost. don't care.

Reading:
-I finally finished Next Generation Leader (Andy Stanley) : B
-Almost finished with the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy [only the first volume] (Douglas Adams) - would recommend
-about to start Generous Orthodoxy (Brian McLaren)

Life:
-I want to sell my Fostex MR-8 digital recorder...anyone interested?
-Adam moves out tuesday.
-Yoshi (the dog) is gone...and so is the smell associated with said dog.
-stop by my photo blog sometime if you get bored
