I went to CIY last week. It was fun, but I am glad to be home. Lucas and I hung out a bit, and we played poker every day. Oh and we learned about God a little too. No seriously...the theme for this year's conference was really cool, "the Kingdom." Unfortunately, some of the main speakers weren't all that great. I did however EXTREMELY enjoy the morning video messages done by Mark Moore. He's a prof. at OCC in case you didn't know. He did this CIY video series on "the kingdom," but the cool thing was that it was filmed in Rome. As you can imagine the on-site locations and illustrations were very engaging. I bought the DVD; i thought is was that good! Honestly, I'd like to let David take a 5 week break and do our own "Kingdom" series and just show the video when it came to the sermon.
