SELF GIFTING
when all is said and done and you have unwrapped all your gifts from christmas, drank your fill of eggnog, and seen more of your family than your nerves will allow, it is time for the after christmas self gift. More than likely you forgot to put something on your list, or you had some gift in mind that nobody would buy for you (i.e. adam asking for a gun or tattoo for xmas) and you still desire to have that one last thing. This gift is probably something small, forgetable, insignificant, and absolutely something you cannot live without. So you do what most do and go right out and purchase the item. This is commonly known as self gifting. A lot of people receive money and/or giftcards for the holidays and so the practice of self gifting is on the rise. This year, the after xmas self gift was yet another accessory for my ever evolving iMac. The pre-xmas self gift was a 2 cup thermos from Starbucks. That one was risky b/c i actually had it on my list, but figured nobody would buy it for me.

So, what is/are you self gift(s)?

BTW, nobody called me on Christmas day to tell me how much they benchpress. I assume that means you were all in church.
