CHRISTMAS IS OFFICIALLY OVER!
...for me anyways. No, I didn't open my presents yet. No, I didn't attend my last xmas party yet. No, I didn't even gag at my mom's usual xmas morning mystery egg caserole thing yet. Christmas is over because I heard the song....the song that makes me want to toss my xmas cookies. The worst song in the history of xmas music: Christmas Shoes. Did you cry the first time you heard it? Probably. Are you embarrassed about that? More than likely. Does it now just make you mad to hear it again over and over? I heard it the first time last year. Now don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore xmas music. I hardly listen to anything else starting the day after Thanksgiving till a few days after Xmas. This year, since I have so much Xmas music on my ipod and since i don't really care for pop artists remakes (except Clay Aiken), I wanted to see how long I could go without hearing that song. I determined that when I did hear it Christmas would officially be over. Today as I passed by the main office on my way to talk to the pastor, I caught a few sentences that remnided me that "I want her to look beautiful if mama meets Jesus tonight." (As Jesus if going to say, "wow, nice shoes...c'mon in!") With that in mind here are some other xmas songs that I don't like that much.

-Christmas music (or any music for that matter) done by the Beachboys.
-Little Drummer boy.
-Jingle Bell Rock (although it wont make me change the radio station). It's not really rock anymore is it?
-Mary Did You Know?
-Grandma Got Ran Over By a Reindeer
EDIT (12.20.05):
brought to you by the wonderful music selection of christian music radio
-Do You See What I See (as performed by Third Day)
-Grown Up Christmas List
