Refreshing...sort of

So I did something very relaxing today. I sat down outside in the shade and read a book. There was a nice gentle breeze, the sound of cars zipping by in the background, and not too much to distract one from knocking back a few chapters.

It all ended abruptly when the Discount Tire guy pulled up w/ my car and gave me the bill for my two new tires. Let me just say that "high performance" tires may look really cool on the specification chart at the new car dealer, but when it comes to replacing them one might wish he'd bought a more standard version.
