tough Q's
today, one of the ministers in our staff meeting got a little side-tracked during prayer time. As soon as the guy praying got done she blurted out, "i had a thought during one of your prayers. What happens to a baby when the 'rapture' comes if the mother is still pregnant?" She was serious. I started laughing but quickly remembered that we are the 'left behind' church and about half of the staff are what we call "dispensational premillenialists." So not necesarily a humorous moment for everyone. It was still kind of a silly (and pointless) thought, and after nobody really said anything, I suggested that it would probably be reminiscent of the "Alien" movies. She didn't find that as humorous as I did (even with my sound effects and bursting-through-my-stomach motion). That pretty much ended the conversation.
